1. In-Person Teaching, School Holiday Group Online Courses & Elevation Group Lessons
This policy applies to:
- All in-person services, including teaching, interview workshops, activity workshops, and mock exams
- School holiday group online courses
- Elevation group lessons (term-time online group courses offered at a reduced fee and booked as a full-term block)
We understand that there may be occasions when customers need to cancel or reschedule their bookings. However, due to advance planning, staffing, and venue arrangements, the following policy applies:
- Customers may cancel or reschedule within 14 days of making their booking.
- After 14 days from the booking date, we are unable to accept requests for refunds, cancellations, or rescheduling.
- If a booking is made less than 14 days before the first lesson or course start date, no refunds, cancellations, or rescheduling will be accepted.
- Elevation group lessons are block-booked for the full term and cannot be cancelled, refunded, or partially refunded once the 14-day cooling-off period has passed.
- We do not offer credit for missed lessons, nor do we carry forward missed sessions to future bookings.
- Any lesson not attended will be deemed as consumed and cannot be reused or transferred.
2. Online Individual (One-to-One) Lessons & Elite Group Lessons (Term-Time)
This policy applies to:
- Online one-to-one lessons
- Elite group lessons, which may be booked on a pay-as-you-go basis
For these lessons:
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling.
- If cancellation or rescheduling is requested less than 48 hours before the lesson, no refund, cancellation, or rescheduling will be accepted.
- If a lesson is booked less than 48 hours before the lesson start time, no refunds, cancellations, or rescheduling will be accepted.
- If a lesson is missed for any reason by the attendee (student), it will be deemed as consumed, and no credit will be issued.
- If a lesson is cancelled by First Exams, a full refund will be processed.
3. General Policy
- We do not offer credit for lessons that are not attended for any reason.
- Missed lessons cannot be carried forward or redeemed against future bookings.
- All lessons not attended will be deemed as consumed.
